        Uncovered in the Davis Collection of Civil War manuscripts at Tulane University, Robertson, Jr. later compiled and edited the maxims in his book Stonewall Jackson’s Book of Maxims (). In the book, Robertson, Jr. publishes the maxims as Jackson originally wrote them. Stonewall Country, described by critics as “a history lesson in the thin guise of musical drama,” premiered in July at Lexington, Virginia’s Lime Kiln Theater, less than a mile from what was once Confederate General Stonewall Jackson’s home. Its plot is precisely as it sounds: a “Civil War musical based on the life of Gen. Thomas. In Jackson’s memory, the plantation office building where he died was made into the "Stonewall" Jackson Shrine. It was one of several outbuildings on Thomas C.
